Brad Pitt is rumored to be in talks to join the cast of The Batman 2, directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson as Batman. The sequel is set to be released in 2027 and will see Pitt potentially playing a villain in the film. While this casting news is still a rumor, Reeves has mentioned discussions with Pitt's production company for the movie. Scarlett Johansson is confirmed to star in The Batman 2, with Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, and Jeffrey Wright expected to return in their respective roles. The film is scheduled for release on October 1, 2027.
