In support of their new comeback album Boycott Heaven, indie rock group The Format will be touring North America this fall.

The band is hitting the road beginning in September, along with special guests The Get Up Kids. The new dates are the latest in their "Boycott Heaven" tour, which kicked off last Month in Boston.

The group, led by frontman Nate Ruess, released their comeback album back in January, which marked the band's first release in nearly two decades. Their last release was 2007's Dog Problems, after which the band announced they'd be going on a break in 2008.

Shortly after their break, Ruess began a new band, Fun., in which he served as its lead singer. They would go on to find huge mainstream success after releasing their second album, Some Nights, in 2012. The pop rock trio, which also featured Jack Antonoff, won Best New Artist and Song of the Year for their hit "We Are Young" at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards in 2013. They ultimately went their separate ways in 2015, with both Antonoff and Ruess launching solo careers as both songwriters and musicians.

Tickets for The Format's fall dates go on sale on Friday (April 10), via Ticketmaster.
